What Should You Do If A Friend Or Loved One Is Arrested In Springfield Illinois?

Dan Stratford: If a friend or a loved one has been accused of a DUI and they are in jail, what can I do to help?
Dan Noll: The best thing to do would be to call the Sangamon County jail at 217-753-6886. They are open 24 hours a day and you can contact, ask them and say, “My brother is in jail.” Give them their name and say if a bond has been set and if that bond has been set, you can go down, bond them out and get them out of jail and that will give you some time to figure out where to go from there.
The second most important thing to do is if a family or loved one has a criminal matter is to find a confident, experienced attorney who knows what the heck they are doing and get somebody retained and get them retained as quickly as possible. It is better to have an attorney in the beginning so they can handle your case from start to finish to make sure it is done properly.
Dan Stratford: Once again thanks for the great information Dan. Until next time, we will let you go, but I just want to remind the viewers out there that Dan Noll and his father are partners in the law firm, Noll Law Office in Springfield, Illinois.
